Please help us welcome, Dr. Molly Sween, the current chair of the Department of Criminal Justice at Weber State University.
Sween holds a PhD in Sociology. Her training was heavily focused on criminological theory and social inequality. She loves teaching and doing research that merges her two areas of expertise. Sween has been a faculty adviser for the past 5 years, and she enjoys helping students navigate the criminal justice curriculum and figure out what career opportunities are available to them after graduation.
Committed to student success, Sween is grateful for the 10-07 Fund as it benefits many Weber State Students interested in a career in law enforcement.
Sween is a native Iowan who has called Utah home since 2011 when she moved here to work at Weber State University. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her daughters (ages 8 and 6) and considers them her greatest accomplishment.
